About the Group

Hi, i'm Jessie and I blog at Play Create Explore. After constantly wishing there was an alternative to the expensive art classes and camps, I decided to start a local Children's Art Group on Meetup.com, now with close to 50 members! Most of our little artists are preschool age, but we have some younger and some older children as well. I strive for at least 2 art playdates a month and we are having a BLAST focusing on mostly process art and projects, as well as some sensory activities. To keep costs at minimum for my members, I try to focus our activities around projects that require minimal supplies, and things that can be found around the home or at least bought inexpensively.
