After my boys and I recently did SCENTED SAND PAINTING, a member of the group thought it would be a fun idea for our little artists and volunteered her home for the project! Sand painting is so simple to set up, but is such a neat sensory painting experience! The kids both finger painted and used paintbrushes.
Simply add sand to regular paint. Add a packet of kool-aid for scent if you'd like! Our gracious host provided all the materials and made quite a few different colors and put them in little paper cups. Since she had wood floors, the kids simply painted on the floor. I suggest heavier paper for this project as well.
Trading brushes :)
The results really are beautiful!
