For our 33rd meetup, our little artists did Flower Painting. It was such a simple setup with just paint and flowers and I explained that the kids could actually paint the flowers, paint WITH the flowers, or both!
I brought paint brushes in case they wanted to actually paint the flowers. The paint was washable. I actually encouraged members to pick their own wildflowers before the meetup, which some did and brought a great variety! I also went and bought a few cheap bouquets of white and colored daisy's as well. I cut them down so the stems weren't so long, but still had enough length to hold onto easily.
We had a great variety of ages at this one, and all of them seemed to really enjoy it!
The littlest ones were so fun to watch as they splatted the flowers on the paper.
It's always fun when the adults can't resist joining in as well :)
Many of the kids were making their flower paintings as a gift for their
dad for Father's Day which is only a few days away!
They were beautiful!
